Retirement Home Tub to Shower Conversion

Back in the spring, we did a tub to shower conversion for a couple with mobility issues in a retirement home. Getting in and out of the tub can be a risk for many older people. We can reduce the step from 13-16” as low as 3” in most cases.

With our Sentrel shower wall panels our process is very fast, with clients using their shower in 24 hours or less. The panels are digital images of granite and marble. Trim pieces and shelves are added as well. In the five years we have been doing our tub to shower conversions, we have not been called in once to replace the caulking. Traditional grout lines are porous which allows water to get under the caulking bead which creates mold. Our senior homes never need to worry about this when we are on the job.

We returned this week and the couple is still enjoying the walk-in shower.
